What is Vital Statistics?
“An amazing compendium of factoids, minutiae, and random bits of wisdom,” which
also happens to be the tagline for the newly published book by author Paul Grobman.
The website provides an extension of the
book, serving as a hub for research, random information and
a fun place learn cool facts about some very amazing statistics.

Who is the Author?
Paul Grobman is an attorney who lives with his wife, three kids, a dog, and two
parakeets on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Vital Statistics is his first book, and this is his first website.

Where does the information
come from?
The information on the website has been principally
researched and complied from books, newspapers, magazines,
and other media outlets. Depending on one’s viewpoint,
some of the sources are more trustworthy than others, but
everything is very well researched before it is posted.
That said, some of the statistics here on the site even
we found difficult to believe.
 What
about research?
Research comes in from a variety of sources. For the initial launch of the website,
the majority of the information has been pulled from the newly published book,
Vital Statistics.
New statistics are added daily as we cull them from our worldwide sources.

Yes! The website is a hub for continued research and development.
We encourage the pursuit of knowledge and well researched information.
As a result, we welcome facts, figures and the overlooked ‘nooks
and crannies' of life.'

What is the Game?
The Vital Statistics Game is a way for North American viewers to compete online
and win a copy of the Vital Statistics Book.

How do I play?
Players log in on a weekly basis and are given the opportunity
to ‘beat the clock'
while matching statistics to their answers. All registered users are able to
login and flex their brain power.

Do you keep score?
Once you have played the game you can track your results
throughout that weeks game play. At the end of the week,
the game closes and the winner is notified via email.
The leader board displays the winner for a week… until a new champion is born.
And remember, if you lose, there is always next week, and the week after that,
and the week after that….
