Rolling Stones
According to Pollstar magazine, the Rolling Stones were the #1 concert draw in North America in 2006, selling $138.5 million worth of tickets for 39 shows across the U.S. and Canada. This was the second year in a row that the Stones were the top-grossing North American tour band, raking in $162 million in 2005. Barbara Streisand ranked second in 2006.

According to Billboard Boxscore, as of May 2008, the highest-grossing concert tour in history by a female artist was Madonna's Confessions tour in 2006, which grossed $194 million.
