Maxwell Smart's signature line in "Get Smart" :
"Would you believe?..."
Said after Smart would say something patently unbelievable, like when he told a KAOS agent who had him cornered that seven Coast Guard boats were coming to his rescue. When the KAOS agent scoffed, Smart might come back with: "Would you believe six?" When faced with obvious lack of effect of this bluff Smart might try again with "how about a row boat and 3 members of the U.S woman's swim team versed in the martial arts?" This last line would always be delivered with a face that looked like it had just sucked on a lemon.
