Last President to not fire a White House chef :
George Bush Sr.
In 1994, Pierre Chambrin was given his walking papers by the White House after the Clintons decided to emphasize American cuisine. And in Feb. 2005, the Bush's fired Walter Scheib, who’d been hired by the Clintons to replace Chambrin. White House pastry chef Roland Meisner said this about the departure: "Mrs. Bush sent some food back that wasn't cooked right, and in my opinion, she was totally right."
